The Baltimore Book Festival is one of the largest in the world that features hundreds of appearances by local, celebrity and nationally known authors and book signings. I exhibited my books and signed many of them. Visitors from around the world appreciated my writing, and I made new friends and fans. It was a great experience.
WOMEN LEADERSHIP
Honored to be part of Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (VA-10) 10th Congressional District’s Young Women Leadership Program. I was invited to the Capitol Hill. She now has my books in her own personal collection. There was a lot of history inside of Capitol Hill, and we also visited where the President delivers his State of the Union speech.
MEETING THE SPACE LEGENDS
Here I met the space legend, Sunita Williams. Her two spaceflights combined lasted more than 321 days, making her the second woman, after American astronaut Peggy Whitson, for the most time spent in space.
